About Me

Andrea Carew, BSc, MMS

Born and raised in Newfoundland, residing in Nova Scotia, Andrea is an experienced health and resilience coach, advisor, facilitator, and instructor.  She has extensive breadth of experience in both private and public sectors (Federal Government of Canada and UK government] where she specialized in public, industry relations and Indigenous consultation.

As a skilled and passionate agent for positive change, Andrea designed and implemented training modules for the Government of Canada focused on Reconciliation and relationship building with Indigenous Peoples: a key government-wide priority and mandate here in Canada.  

Having diversified her career over 6 years ago, Andrea is certified by Duke University’s Integrative Medicine as a behaviour change practitioner and coach.  She has also been recruited as a clinical instructor for the School of Nursing and Student Health Services at Dalhousie University.  

Proud to be part of the Atlantic Institute for Resilience (AIR Institutes) team as resilience coach, Andrea supports strengthening mental fitness and wellbeing in the workplace and individually through facilitation, workshop delivery and one-on-one coaching.
