This week we’re highlighting our oh so clever Research and Measurement Lead, Yannick Provencher!

After completing his master’s degree at the University of Guelph, Yannick moved to Halifax to join the Air team and pursue a PhD in Industrial/Organizational Psychology at Saint Mary’s University. He uses an evidence-based approach to solve problems and applies strong methodologies to promote health and well-being in the workplace. Yannick has presented his research at various top-tier psychology and business conferences, and has been published in scientific journals to include Psychoneuroendocrinology, the Academy of Management Proceedings, the Canadian Journal of Behavioural Science, and the Journal of Further and Higher Education. When he’s not conducting research, Yannick works as a consultant on various measurement projects and is currently a part-time faculty teaching statistics at Saint Mary’s University.

Yannick is passionate about using his background in conducting research and statistical knowledge to ensure that Air delivers reliable evidence-based assessments and training to clients. As the world around us is ever evolving, Yannick continuously strives to refine and further improve the way resilience is defined, measured, and understood.

When he can find the time, Yannick enjoys participating in activities that clear his mind. In the summer, you can catch him hiking, hitting the beach, and go-karting! In the winter, he keeps busy trying to chase the perfect line!

Thank you for your commitment that you bring to AIR, Yannick. We’re so lucky to have you on our team!
